ACCREDITED MEMBERSHIP CHANGES FROM 1ST MARCH 2021

In view of the pandemic and the obvious issues emerging from this, there will be a change in requirements for the Accredited Membership in an attempt to align with the needs of our members during what has been a tumultuous year.

From the 1st March 2021 those wishing to apply for Accredited status will no longer be required to provide 3 evaluations but instead to provide requirement A and any one option from requirement B. This change will be reviewed again by 28th February 2022.

Requirement A

  • one evaluation will be required from new and renewing members which must a professional reference (from client or employer)

Requirement B (to be sent to: vicechairsec01@gmail.com)

  • Website – demonstrating quality and professionalism
  • Testimonials from clients with dates (these cannot be same year on year)
  • Example of a professional report or similar (all names to be deleted) that you have written

There are three types of membership: Standard, Accredited and Retired. Whichever type you choose it will provide membership of a well-respected association which requires all its members to follow a Code of Practice defining high-quality consultancy. The Society is very flexible and members are able to move between the three types of membership depending on their circumstances, which may be changed on renewal.
